Our new niece is here and her name is SUMMER!

It has been an exciting day, Summer was born around twelve in the afternoon. She is beautiful and already full of Bollinger energy. Tracy is especially excited about his new baby sister.

Tracy enjoyed cuddling with his new sister...and I didn't mind either! Even Mike with his fear of new born babies fell in love.

Aside from our trips to the hospital we took the boys to the park for some volleyball and the playground. I have never seen them so dirty!

Vacation

VIVA MEXICO

A vacation is certainly what we needed. A week away without a computer, school book, or test. It was nice to relax on the beach and sleep in. We spent the week in Puerto Vallarta, Mexico with friends of ours(Bri and Aaron Tanner) that live down the street.

The first few days we encountered some clouds and rain but over all it was great weather. When we weren't at the beach eating nachos or swimming we got in a few games of shuffle board and even a few NBA games...go Celtics! We spent one day in downtown Puerto Vallarta at the flea market and hit up the local Walmart..yes, they have Walmart everywhere and we always find it.

One of the evenings we took a boat ride to Caletas, a private beach that is only accesible by boat. We watched a show and had a candle lit dinner on the water. It was a nice change of scenery and the food was AMAZING! We even got good weather...except for a little bit of rain on the way there.
Unfortunately Mike got a sunburn so I got to swim solo for a most of the week....I will convert him to a swimmer yet! By the time the week was over all I wanted was a large diet coke(a week without was far too long...) and a double cheese burger from McDonalds..I have never looked over to a layover so much...and to my disappointment there was not a single fast food place in the whole terminal. No McDonald's..that's a first.

Party!!!

What's graduation without a party to celebrate. Nothing too big. Just a few friends and some good weather.

Everett eating a burger the size if his head! The kids had a great time playing together. They especially loved the fish in the pond.

Half Way!

May 2, 2008
It's amazing how time flies, even harder to believe that Mike is half way done with school. Although Mike might disagree it was an exciting day (and not because I got to leave work early). It was fun to go and cheer him on. He had a large crowd of supporters too. Kirk, Marilynn, Mike, Leesa, Tracy, and Everett all came to show their support. The best part of the ceremony was the lack of speaker. It made for short and sweet, so no complaints from any of us.

Kirk, Marilynn, Mike, and Melody. Leesa and her little bro.
A bird's eye view...Lot's of people..but only one that mattered.
4 Years to go....

Keith, Cassie, and Luke!

In March we were so lucky to have the "Lavertiers" come into town. It was a quick trip but it was such a great time. Here are a few of the highlights.

I think it's safe to say that we did a lot of eating while they were here. Had to hit all the Utah hot spots. We look forward to the next visit!

My first quilt

This is for you Mom..Here is the first finished product. Thanks for teaching me the ropes. I miss you!

New Talents...

Busy Season was killer this year! Stacey and I decided we needed a break so I took it upon myself to lure her into my new hobby. A masterpiece is in the works and won't her new nephew be so excited once he gets it.

What's a night of creativity without a ginormous pizza from the Pie. Let's just say we had no idea it would be as big as I am. The walk to the car was difficult as I was laughing so hard I was crying at the thought of brining that pizza home to Mike...it only got better when Naomi started scarfing it down in the backseat of the cart on the way home. Anyway, it was fun. Glad we took a break from taxes to enjoy some normalcy.
